There are over 1,200 colleges and universities in the US with tennis programs across all divisions (NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA) so there is a university and a team for everyone! The size of a university tennis teams in the USA can vary depending on things such as division, resources and coaching preferences. NCAA Division I (DI) teams, which often have more resources, tend to have larger rosters and are typically between 10 to 15 players. NCAA DII, DIII and NAIA tennis teams generally have smaller rosters of around 6 to 10 players.
